The campground is in a mature virgin Poplar Forest parallel to a water body. There are 3 entry/exit points which minimizes traffic through each campground area. The roadways curve and wind through the forest and through the valleys creating an enchanted quality . There are three crescents with many sites having views over the water.
The sites have much privacy provided by natural vegetation and mature trees. Standard sites are 40ft by 80 ft (12.2mx24.4m) with many sites considerably larger. The sites on the South side of the main roadway through (Garden Lane) extend approximately 20ft (6m) into the field and each will have a garden of approx 20ft by 40ft (6.1mx12.2m)
Two storage sheds of up to 100 sq ft (9.0sq m) are allowed. Also, each site has space for at least one vehicle to park off of the roadway.
The meadow south of the camping area is grass and allows for future development of a baseball field, horse shoes and croquet areas, etc. There are community gardens and TWO guest parking areas.
